It was a blissful day on Destiny Island when two figures were walking on a path that leads to Star Hill Secondary School.

“Hey Kairi,” said a boy with brown spiky hair, “are you free this afternoon?”

“Sure I’m Sora,” the girl with auburn coloured hair said with a smile, “Where do you want to meet?”

“Well………… maybe the beach?” Suggested Sora.

“What a great idea”, giggled Kairi, “it is so romantic when the sun set.”

Sora and Kairi went back home to change into something casual. Sora was an average fifteen year-old boy with brown spiky hair and ocean blue eyes. He was a guy who appreciated adventures and always helped those in need. Although he is a bit immature and naïve, he was also strong-hearted and romantic. Kairi was a beautiful and sexy girl with auburn coloured hair and sky-blue coloured eyes. She was very outspoken and more out-going. She is very nice and kind-hearted. Sora and Kairi had been close friends from their childhood, they were always together. Half an hour later, they met on the beach. The sun’s rays blazing onto the crystal and tranquil water and on to the fine sand. Coconut trees swaying back and forth by the gentle winds, sea gulls circling the beach and the waves hitting upon the shores. Sora and Kairi snuggle with each other on the warm sand as they watched the waves and the sunset. After a few minutes of silence, Kairi said, “Do still remember how you and Riku found your way home by the help from the Door of Light?”

“Yeah”, Sora said tickling her. He received a playful slap from her. “It was because of that bottle you sent.”

When Sora was away, Kairi keep hoping that the boy who used to play with her when she was little will come back, even though she forgotten his name. After school, Kairi heard a voice in her head telling her about the boy’s name. When the voice was gone, she quickly wrote a letter and stuffed it in a bottle and let it drift off. As the bottle containing the letter drift off, she murmured Sora’s name, finally remembering him.

After Xemnas was defeated and Sora and Riku stranded on some dark island, Kairi’s bottle wash ashore and was picked up by Riku. After Sora read Kairi’s words, suddenly there was a door in front of them opened. Inside it was filled with powerful, holy like light. Assuming it was the door to Light; Sora and Riku walked through it and ended being home at Destiny Island with their friends.

Kairi smiled at her memories, and then her face turned worried and serious.

“Sora”, Kairi anxiously said, “what happened if you’re gone again?”

Sora sat up, “Don’t worry Kairi”; he said with an encouraging smile, “even though I’m gone, I will find my way back.”

“But Sora”, Kairi pleaded, “I will so lonely without you.”

Sora came closer to Kairi and hugged her. “I also miss you when I was gone; I miss your angelic face.”

Kairi giggled and drew close to Sora’s hug and said, “Sora, promised me you will never leave me alone. If you’re planning to go to another world, take me with you.”

Sora drew a breath, holds her hands and said, “I promise.”

Kairi’s phone was ringing when Kairi was playing with her pet dog, Fluffy. Kairi carefully placed Fluffy on her bed and picked the phone set with a weary sigh. Then her head jerk with surprise and then proclaimed, “Sora?”

Sora’s voice could be heard from the other end of the phone, “Er… Kairi, I was wondering……… if you’re free tomorrow night.” He gulped before continuing, “Because if you’re, there is a new Horror movie showing at the Waterfront Cinema.” He stammered, “If you want, I could take you…..”

Before he could finish his sentence, Kairi gave a happy squeal and cried, “I LOVE TO GO, MEET YOU THERE!”

She said goodbye to Sora and playfully ruffled Fluffy’s head and keep whispering, “I’m going on a date with Sora!” Exhausted, she fell into her pillow. Meanwhile, Sora could not believe what he just heard. He was trembling with excitement and joy like kid celebrating his birthday. “She……” Stammered Sora, “she ….. She ACCEPTED!! YAHOO!!!”  He cried so loudly that he almost lost his voice.

“SORA”, his mother cried from downstairs, “are you alright?”

“I’m ok, mom.” Sora cried back. Sora did a small waltz and fell on his bed.

The sun was already setting behind a building where there was a long queue into the cinema; Sora was leaning on one of the walls of the cinema checking his watch. He was fifteen minutes early, he smiled waiting for his date to come. Thirty minutes later, Sora was becoming desperate when he heard his own name being called, “SORA! Sorry I’m late!” Sora turned around and faced Kairi. She was dressed in a red, crimson sleeveless T-Shirt, her lower body was covered with a rose-coloured mini-skirt and she was wearing high-heels slippers. Sora’s jaws dropped and all he can do was gaped.

Kairi noticed his reaction. “Err…. Am I overdressed?” She asked nervously.

Sora snapped back to reality and stuttered, “Kairi, you…. You look lovely!”

Kairi smiled, “Thanks.”

Together, they entered the theatre. Sora bought the refreshments and then he and Kairi took their place. After the advertisement, Kairi whispered to Sora, “Sora, I’m a bit scared, can you hold my hand, please?”

Sora was startled, “Sure.”  

Sora holds Kairi’s hand, blushing. The movie was about a ghost of a murdered girl who keeps on possessing innocent souls to commit murders and other demeanours. Every time the ghost posses someone or when the victim does something unusual, Kairi screamed and clutched Sora’s hand tightly. Sora on the other hand, was looking bored trying to resists the pain from Kairi’s clutches. “I’m a man”, he thought firmly, “and I must hold onto Kairi no matter how painful is her hold. Besides, she is a girl, I must have over reacted.” No sooner had he said that, Kairi screamed again and squeezed Sora’s hand. Sora had to bite his other hand to prevent him from yelping. In the middle of the movie, there was a part where a possessed victim stabbed a man. Instead of squeezing Sora’s hand, Kairi grabbed Sora by the arm and hugged it. Sora was elated; he placed his arm on Kairi’s shoulder.

After the movie, Kairi was still holding Sora’s arm as they walked out of the cinema.

“Sora”, Kairi whispered, “that was the best Horror Film I ever watched.”

“I know”, Sora grinned, “But I wondered how did you get the chance to enjoy it while you’re screaming your head off back there?”

Kairi let go of Sora’s arm and punched his arm gently. “Shut up”, she cried, “don’t be so mean!”

Sora lifted Kairi off her feet and chuckled. “Before you punch me, just remember who you’re dealing with.”

Kairi struggled in Sora’s arms screaming playfully, “HELP! MOLESTER! KIDNAPPER!”

Sora quickly put her down, grumbling, “Damn, just before I was getting to the best part.”

Kairi giggled and hold Sora’s hand, “I was just teasing you dunce.”

They went to the nearest café for coffee and snacks. They spent the entire time talking about the best part of the movie. After Sora paid the bills, they headed to the hill overlooking the sea. They snuggled each other. Kairi lifted up the head and looked at the moon.
“Nights are so romantic, aren’t they?” She asked.

“They sure are.” Sora replied.

They faced each other with the moon rays shining upon their face.

“I love you, Kairi.” Sora said.

“I love you too, Sora.” Whispered Kairi.

Their heads came closer to each other; they can feel each other breaths coming near. Finally their lips touched each other. Their bodies were glued together as they continued their smooching. Their lips parted for awhile, their blue eyes staring hard at each other.

“That was my first kiss.” Kairi said softly.

“Also mine too”, grinned Sora, “I didn’t know you were a good kisser.”

“You too.” She laughed.

They pressed their lips together and kissed under the moon.
