NaruSaku: The Rescue“Where are you taking me?” enquired Sakura.

Under the threat of the killing of their son, Sakura surrendered herself to her ex-husband, Sasuke, and left Naruto in order to safe her first baby, Nokuto. Sasuke placed Genjutsu on Sakura so she couldn’t attack him with her super-human strength. After five hours of traveling, they finally reach an entrance made out of stones and with the two snakes on top of it. Sasuke smiled evilly at Sakura.

“Welcome to my lair, Sakura.” he said, “This is your new home.”

“Unless Naruto save me”, counter-argued Sakura, “it won’t be.”

The Sakura Rescue Team was heading towards the Village Hidden-in-sound where Sasuke’s lair should be hidden. As a five-man cell, the team was divided into two units; the tracking units and the reserve units. Kiba and Akamaru, who were in the tracking units with Naruto and Shikamaru, were taking the scent of both Sakura and Sasuke while Neji, who was with Choji, was the look-out. Team have been going for half an hour, non-stop.

It had been two months since Naruto and Sakura had left Konoha to the Land of Water for their honeymoon. They spent most of their time on the beach or in their hotel room doing something fun together. When Naruto was in the room, Sakura smiled at him and pointed to her belly which was big. Naruto stared at it with wide-eyes.

NaruSaku: A Happy Ending

There was loud explosion and blinding flash that blinded everyone in the area. When the flash was gone, it revealed Naruto standing in front of Sasuke’s body. Sasuke was motionless and there were no movements of breathing. Everyone walked closer to Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura holding Naruto’s arm.

“Is he dead?” asked Choji.

Ino bend down and inspected the body. After some time, she stood up and nodded. “Sasuke is dead.”

Everyone bowed their heads in silence for old time’s sake despites of Sasuke’s crime.

“Should we bury him here?” asked Lee.

When Naruto and Sakura both nodded, Kiba and Akamaru dug a hole with ‘Fang-Over-Fang’ technique and Choji carefully laid Sasuke’s body in the grave and buried it. Using Gentle Fist, Neji and Hinata engraved Sasuke’s name on a tombstone and placed it on top of the place where Sasuke was buried.  After paying their final respect to Sasuke, a comrade and an enemy, they left Sasuke’s final resting place and returned to Konoha.

“Home at last!” cried TenTen as they passed through the main gates of Konoha.

“Me and Shino have to make our report to the Hokage”, Shikamaru said as they stop at one of the rest houses. “So you guys can rest here for a while.”

“I come with you”, Naruto said as he jumped off from his seat. “I left Nokuto with Shizune.”

“Then I’m coming with you”, Sakura said as she also jumped off her seat. “I want to see my Nokuto again!”

“Are you sure?” Naruto asked with concern. “Your wounds…”

“Ino and I healed them already”, Sakura said with a smile. “In case you have forgotten that we’re healing ninjas.”

“How could I’ve forgotten?” Naruto remarked with a grin, glad that his wife is smiling again.

Shikamaru shook his head and muttered, “Troublesome people.”

Nether less, Shikamaru led Naruto and Sakura to the Hokage Office. As Shikamaru opened the door, Sakura pushed Shikamaru aside as she grabbed Nokuto from Shizune and hugged him with tears of relief pouring down her cheeks. While Sakura was bowing and thanking Shizune for taking care of her child, Naruto and Shikamaru, who was rubbing his sore side and grumbling, made their report to Tsunade. After telling her all the details of their mission and Sasuke’s fate, Tsunade leaned back against her chair and nodded, “I’m glad that you and Sakura are safe and the renegade was brought to justice. That’s one evil gone. Now we can focus on the remains of the Akatsuki. Good work! For now, you and Sakura should rest from the ordeal you suffered.”

Naruto thank Tsunade and gently took Sakura and Nokuto from the office while Shikamaru stayed behind to discuss with Tsunade about the reward each member will receive. As Naruto and Sakura, who was carrying a sleeping Nokuto, walked outside the tower, Naruto took Sakura arm and said, “I’m glad that was over. I promise that you and Nokuto will never come to any harm.”

Sakura held Nokuto in her left arm and wrapped her right arm around Naruto’s left arm. “I will also make the same promise. I couldn’t bear to see Nokuto come to harm ever again.”

Naruto kissed Sakura gently on the forehead as they continued home.

In Sasuke’s final resting place, it was dark saved from the noises of insects and the roaring wind. The forest surrounding the tombstone was dark and sinister and it felt as if the air was full of evil energies. Sasuke’s dead body still lies in the deep soil. Just out of the blues, a figure walked in front on the grave. His silver hair moving due to the strong wind and he lifted his hand to move his glasses up.

“I’m impressed with Naruto that he managed to defeat you, Sasuke.” Kabuto said with a dark grin. “However, you’re now the perfect puppet that I can control now you’re dead.”

With dark chakra in his hands, Kabuto muttered an incantation and slammed both palms onto Sasuke’s grave. The ground suddenly cracked and a hand of rotten flesh broke free of the harden soil and a moving corpse gave a moan. As Kabuto watched Sasuke in his undead form, Kabuto gave a maniacally laugh.

The hours have come! The last chapter of the NaruSaku series! Ok....... it not as good as the previous series but I was out of ideas. The Kabuto part was just a last-minute thing.

This is the last chapter people! I'm not writing another series! Ok! So I did put that part about Kabuto raising Sasuke back to life but that was just to make the story more intresting.
